Settlement Services
To help newcomers integrate into Canadian society, settlement services are
available for Newcomers / Permanent Residents (PR), Citizens, Live-in
Caregivers, and Conventional Refugee Claimants to Canada (proof required).

- Orientation to your neighbourhood
- Canadian laws/norms
- Supportive Counselling
- Translation/Interpretation services
- Health Childcare and Senior benefits
- Orientation, information sessions and attestation of documents
- Referrals regarding government services including social assistance and Ontario disability support programs
Social Services
Mental Health
Culturally and linguistically appropriate support for clients 16 years or over
dealing with mental health challenges.
- Short-term case management will be provided.
- Supportive counseling to clients and family members.
- Referral as needed to specialized services.
Addictions
Culturally appropriate service to individuals and family members struggling with
substance abuse issues.
- Short-term case management will be provided.
- Supportive counseling to clients and family members.
- Referral as needed to specialized services.
Supportive services to assist in aging at home
Culturally appropriate service to individuals and family members struggling with taking care of the elderly.
- Education and awareness of aging issues.
- Link them with appropriate services which are available in the community.
- Supportive counseling to clients and family members.
