Who We Are

PCHS waterloo has its head office in the City of Cambridge. We offer services in the following areas of region of Waterloo including Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot, and Woolwich.

PCHS Waterloo is a registered charitable organization that offers donor funded, confidential, professional and quality mental health services and programming to South Asians that are struggling with mental health, addictions, and family challenges. PCHS Waterloo was established in January 2019 by our Founder Baldev Mutta and a group of dedicated and like-minded individuals to support the unique and growing health and wellness needs of the South Asian, Punjabi, and diverse underserved communities across Waterloo Region. PCHS Waterloo is an affiliate of PCHS which is our parent organization located in Peel region, Ontario. Punjabi Community Health Services (PCHS) is a pioneering community-based, non-profit charitable organization with a 33-year history of serving diverse populations.

We have dedicated ourselves to addressing a wide range of community needs, including addiction & mental health services, geriatric care, health promotion, domestic violence assistance, parenting support, newcomer settlement services, and specialized programs for women, children, and youth. PCHS has earned recognition for its innovative approach and commitment to delivering integrated, holistic care through its Integrated Holistic Service Delivery Model (IHSDM). Our dedication to excellence is further emphasized by our accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International and Imagine Canada. As an organization, PCHS is committed to being sensitive to the needs of the 2SLGBTQ community, ensuring that our services are inclusive and supportive of all individuals.

What We Do

As a registered not-for-profit organization in Ontario, we are working to establish a sustainable support and service delivery model that will ensure the South Asian and diverse underserved communities receive timely, equitable, and culturally appropriate health and wellness care and support.

PCHS Waterloo started its work in January 2019. It was registered as a not-for-profit organization on October 26, 2023. Supporting diverse communities in a culturally appropriate manner to receive equitable services.
